Is This Bad?

We will miss you just a little, Grandma and Clair! Hopefully we won't miss you too much because we'll be visiting you:) You guys are great--I'm grateful you're so willing and happy to do missionary work.
Hope everyone else can enjoy the rest of the summer! It's almost over! Even here in Hungary I heard a "back to school" song in the stores, and there is fall attire and school supplies everywhere. I actually just finished school last week--I am a college graduate! Because of that, I was able to get some pictures up on our blog from 3 months ago and others since then. It's our couple journal. I think I posted around 5 times yesterday, just to catch up. Yep, I am still being very productive;) It's really cool stuff. I want you all to look at our blog--is that selfish or conceited of me? I don't mean to be. We only have 2.5 months left here in Hungary.

Future blogs will include the following (so you have to keep checking it out):
A castle, cathedral, clock, palace, and a Temple...

I finally got Clair cornered tonight, so he could help me post these "summer magic" pictures.  Here's our fluming fun on the 4th of July, saying goodbye to our Wisconsin Palmers, and our last fling with the Preston grandkids the weekend of July 19th and 20th.  I wish I had a picture of the grandkids tonight as we told them all goodbye after being set apart over at the stakehouse.  They were a sad looking bunch of cute kids.

It was a wonderful day, and we missed the rest of you!  Love to all - Mom/Grandma

Way to go Pedersens!  The decorations looked so cute! I wish I could have been there.  That was a crazy weekend, but it's sure nice to have Abbie married, Daniel in the MTC and to have had our Wisconsin Palmers here last week.  We had lots of fun on the Ranch, at Twin Lakes, celebrating the 4th with a flag raising, the Star-Spangled Banner and breakfast at Jeff and Kimi's, the parade in Lewiston, "fluming" over in Weston, a movie back in Lewiston and the fireworks.  The next day, Mat and Jill took the two little ones to Poky and Rexburg and Liv and Warren (their nephew that came with them) went with some of the cousins to the "Jump Zone" in Logan and did a "Lord of the Rings" Marathon at Jen and Troy's Friday night.  A few of the cousins had one more trip to the flume Sat. afternoon.  Mat and Jill went to Mat's 20th class reunion at Marsh Valley Sat. night and then they were on their way early Sunday morning.  They planned to stop at Martin's Cove and spend the night near Mt. Rushmore last night.  I think they were going to Jill's brother, Aaron, in South Dakota? tonight and on home tomorrow, as Mat has to go up to Scout Camp on Wed.  June and the first week of July has been quite the marathon!

Amanda and Sarah are here and I am trying to focus on getting some things done.  We leave 3 weeks from this Thursday!

The summer is whizzing by and kids will soon be back in school, so enjoy the summer and let us know what's going on in your lives!

Love you - Mom

P.S.  I'll have Clair help me post a few pictures from this past week on the blog.

Abbie's Wedding Reception Photos

I am finally posting some pictures from our reception.  We are glad to have June and all her craziness over with.  Everything went wonderfully well.  Thanks to amazing friends and family.  It was an awesome day at the temple and at home; a real whirlwind weekend.   Our friends Steve and Trudy Bessert made all the wood decorations.  They looked awesome.
Everyone loved our old wedding dress.
I had all the bride portraits on this one.
Family wedding pictures on this one.  Our dear friends Jim and Terry are the picture in front.  Terry passed away in April suddenly.  She was like a second mom to Abbie.
 CUPCAKES.  AREN'T THE STANDS COOL?
MORE CUPCAKES AND OUR CREAMIES IN THE TUB
THE CRAZY WEDDING CAKE AFTER MY DEAR FRIEND MELODY FIXED IT.  THE STAND ON THE SIDE HAS WEDDING PAPER DOLLS THAT WERE GRANDMA GRACES'.  THEY WERE IN HER OLD UTAH AGRICULTURAL COLLEGE (UTAH STATE) YEARBOOK.  1921 I THINK
 ONE OF THE TABLE DECORATIONS
 OLD HATS AND FUR
THIS IS A CLOSE UP OF THE BRIDE AND GROOM PAPER DOLLS.  THERE ARE A MAID OF HONOR AND BEST MAN AND TWO MORE SETS OF BRIDESMAIDS AND GROOMSMEN.
THE CAKE LOOKED A MILLION TIMES BETTER.  IT WAS YELLOW WITH WHITE AND YELLOW FLOWERS BEFORE.   HOW DO YOU LIKE MY SILHOUETTE?  I MADE IT MYSELF, FROM A PICTURE OFF THE COMPUTER OF COURSE.
MORE CUPCAKES YET AGAIN.  WE HAD CARROT CAKE, TRIPLE CHOCOLATE, PINK LEMONADE, COOKIES AND CREAM, BUBBLE GUM, CHOCOLATE MALT, AND BLACKBERRY WHITE CHOCOLATE.  THEY WERE PRETTY AND TASTED GOOD TOO.
TREE BRANCHES WRAPPED WITH WHITE LIGHTS IN OLD MILK CANS, WITH CREAM CANS BETWEEN.  WISH YOU COULD SEE THE CANS.
FATHER DAUGHTER DANCE.  SHE WAS CRYING THROUGH MOST OF IT.  SO SWEET!
 MR. AND MRS. RATHER.
THEY WERE SO FUNNY CUTTING AND EATING THE CAKE.  THIS PICTURE IS PRICELESS.  THEY WERE SO CAREFUL AND CUTE WITH EACH OTHER.  LAUGHING THE WHOLE TIME.
